After the engagement is announced and the date is set, one of the next steps is the bridal shower. Traditionally, the Maid of Honor is the one who plans the Bridal shower for the bride. Although it is often a surprise, the bridal shower can be planned with the bride being involved if you like. There are many preparations that go into the bridal shower such as the food, decorations, games, and beverages. One other thing that is often forgotten are the bridal shower favors. A must have for a well planned party to be complete!
Bridal shower favors are a way of thanking all the guests who attended the bridal shower, and showing appreciation to everyone who came to help celebrate. They can be small trinkets, or elaborately designed gifts that everyone can take home. When choosing your bridal shower favors, there is always the question of cost. How much is too much? One of the best wedding presents that I received was a beautiful crystal bell. It’s very elegant, classy and sophisticated. It doesn’t serve a true purpose, other than looking beautiful, which is good enough for me.

When I was planning my wedding five years ago, I looked at a lot of different types of favors. However, I never saw any bookmark favors that were worth buying.
