Wedding Favors Tell Your Friends what you’re Passionate About

Posted on October 3rd, 2012 by kevindflynn in Beach Wedding Favors

Beach Wedding FavorsThere’s more to wedding favors than simply acknowledging your guests and the members of your wedding party. Wedding favors tell your friends what you’re passionate about. Do you think anyone has a Las Vegas themed wedding if they’re not passionate about casinos and Vegas shows? How about those beach weddings where everything looks like it came from Hawaii? There’s a reason for these things. The bride and groom are passionate about the object of their wedding themes.

We have Las Vegas wedding favors and beach wedding favors. We also have a number of specialty, personalized, and unique wedding favors. In fact, if you browse through our site here at Truly Wedding Favors you’ll find that we have the favors you need for any kind of wedding theme. What are you passionate about? Let your imagination run wild because when it comes time to have that special day you’ll want that passion to be on display for all to see.

Your Decisions today affect your Friends’ Choices Tomorrow

After your wedding, your friends will all know exactly what it is that you’re passionate about. How does this affect your future? For one thing, they’ll know what to buy you for your anniversary. If your theme is clear for all to see on your wedding day, the gift buying on holidays and special occasions in the future will be easier for those who remain in your circle. Those who don’t will most likely not buy you gifts during the holidays, but they’ll probably remember your theme anyway. Who knows? Maybe they’ll do something similar with their wedding.

Are you passionate about a number of different things? Browse through the pages of Truly Wedding Favors and choose your wedding theme based on the wedding favors you like best. This may seem like starting backwards for some, but many of our past customers have told us that this method was the only way they were able to finally make up their minds about a wedding theme. Of course, if you want to go with a simple classic black tux and white dress formal, we have wedding favors for that too. Take your time, choose carefully, and your wedding is sure to be an occasion for all to remember for years to come.

Beach Weddings require Beach Wedding Favors

Posted on July 3rd, 2012 by kevindflynn in Beach Wedding Favors, Wedding Favors

Beach Wedding FavorsIt’s July 1st, so it makes sense to talk about beach weddings today. Are you planning on getting married on the beach some time this summer or next? If you’re doing it this year, planning should be well under way. Beach weddings require detailed execution and careful decision making. Setting a date far in advance during the months of July or August can leave you open to all sorts of unexpected twists and turns, the weather being one of them. Are you one hundred percent ready and do you have back-up plans in place in the event of inclement weather?

Anything can happen and we of course do not want your special day to be spoiled. Most couple who tie the knot on the beach or any other outdoor venue have an indoor/outdoor strategy that leaves room for guests to escape to shelter if the rain comes in. Others set up a tent or awning and have the ceremony and reception under that, secure in the knowledge that nothing short of a hurricane will stop the ceremony. Either way, you’ll need beach wedding favors. We have those here for you.

The photo at the top right corner of this post is one of our more breathtaking beach wedding favors – our seashell gel tealight holder. It comes in clear glass with a colorful selection of seashells set in a blur gel ocean shore motif. Just a few inches in diameter, you can purchase this thoughtful wedding favor in a gift box with a white satin ribbon and bow. That’s a pretty nice touch for an outdoor beach wedding, isn’t it? Best of all, these favors are affordable at less than $3.00 apiece, showing that style and class doesn’t have to be expensive. We even include the tea candle for that price.

Check out our beach wedding favors home page and you’ll see innovative wedding favors in all shapes and sizes. Looking for something simple? Try starfish themed toasting flutes or seashell photo key chains. Both are big sellers and sure to be keepers for your wedding guests. Looking for novelty items? We have pink flip flop notebooks and crystal clam shells. You’ve probably never seen either and neither have your guests. Be the first to offer them and give everyone something to talk about for a while.

Wedding favors are important and they are far too often overlooked. Here at Truly Wedding Favors, we price our wedding favors affordably and offer a wide variety or classic and not so common favors to choose from. Everything else you buy, lease, or borrow for your wedding day comes with a hefty price tag. Completing your beach wedding theme with beach wedding favors is priceless, but we make sure you can make it happen, even if it’s an afterthought. Please browse our selection and feel free to call if you need any additional assistance. Our number is 1-888-448-7859.

flip-flop-luggage-tagAre you getting married in the summer this year? If you are, it is never too early to start planning some of the details for your wedding. The closer to the big day you get, the busier you will be, so now is a good time to take care of some of the planning and ordering. The most popular theme for a summer wedding is a beach theme. Even if you are not getting married at the beach, you can still set the tropical mood with the help of some beach wedding favors. When you choose beach wedding favors for your reception, they will add to the decor on your tables and show your guests that you appreciate them attending.

When deciding on your beach wedding favors you should take a couple things into consideration. The color of your reception decorations will play a big part in which favors you choose as well as your budget. You should also have an idea of what kind of beach wedding favors you think your guests would like. Common wedding favors include place card holders, candles, bottle stoppers, and key chains. You could also go with something unique that your guests will be impressed by such as a crystal clamshell favor.

TW17016-detailIt takes a creative mind and lots of organization to plan a wedding. There are many different aspects to planning a wedding in addition to the moment when the couple says “I do”. One very important part of planning a wedding is to make the seating chart. It is very important that all of your guests feel comfortable with where they are sitting in order for them to thoroughly enjoy the reception. In order to make sure that your guests know where they are supposed to sit, place card holders are needed on the table for each guest as this is one way of making each guest feel that their presence is welcomed and cherished.

Here are a few of the top picks for place card holders that have been matched with a wedding theme. This may also give you some ideas on what to choose for your own wedding. Four of the most common wedding themes that correspond to the four seasons in a year are featured below:

Flip Flops Personalized Cookies

Posted on August 15th, 2008 by Kori Ellis in Destination Weddings, Wedding Favors

I have seen personalized cookies at various weddings over the years, and these flip flop cookies are perfect for a beach wedding. Many companies sell these cookie favors and they are usually about $5 each.

Flip Flops Personalized CookiesIf you really love the idea but don’t want to pay that much, shop around online and at local bakeries. You can probably get a discount deal in bulk. If not, maybe you can enlist a family member or friend who loves to bake to make a homemade version.

These cookies pictured here are from Weddings By Dezign and run just over $5 each, including two lines of personalization.

Palm Tree Wedding Favors

Posted on August 5th, 2008 by Kori Ellis in Destination Weddings, Wedding Favors

If you are having your wedding at a tropical beach destination, palm tree wedding favors are an obvious choice. However, you can also use these favors at a local beach wedding to give it a more tropical feel.

Palm Tree Favor BoxAt Truly Wedding Favors, we offer several favors depicting a beach theme and palm trees are prominent. My favorite palm tree favor is not really a favor at all but rather a favor box.

This palm tree favor box, which is priced at under a dollar, features green palm fronds and brown coconuts atop the tree trunk. The trunk is a hollow base that can be filled with treats and opened from the bottom. These boxes are very cute and perfect for a tropical themed wedding.

Other palm tree favors, include cookie cutters and tea light holders, among others.

Favors Perfect for a Tropical Beach Wedding

Posted on July 1st, 2008 by Kori Ellis in Wedding Favors

My friend Samantha is getting married in Hawaii at the end of the year. She was asking me about wedding favors. So we were looking at all the beach and tropical favors that would be perfect for her wedding.

Silver Pineapple Placecard HoldersThough her wedding is at the beach, it’s not that casual. Therefore, I thought she should go for something chrome or crystal – still with a beachy theme.

I think she has settled on these silver pineapple placecard holders pictured here. They are made of shiny chrome and quite elegant, but also fun with the pineapple theme!

After guests take these place card favors home, they can use them to hold photos or memos on their desk. Functional, fun and elegant – just what Samantha is looking for!

If you are planning a destination wedding, here are a few choices that you should consider. A destination wedding at an exotic beach location is a wonderful option for a couple looking to do something a little different and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Bahamian chic with resources for small to large events, Pink Sands offers wedding packages starting at $2,300, which includes marriage licensing, reverend, wedding cake, bride’s bouquet, bottle of Champagne and photographer. Go for a Bahamian flavored dinner menu and a night of dancing to cap off the evening. .

St. Maarten is known in the Caribbean as “The Friendly Island” – and with casinos, dance clubs, great restaurants and beautiful beaches, Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino is where weddings win big! Couples can work with a wedding coordinator to create their ceremony of choice or select one of Sonesta Maho’s signature wedding packages. Wedding packages include the Silver Ceremony $1450, Gold Ceremony $1850 and Platinum Ceremony $2450. All offer a wedding coordinator, bouquet, location and marriage license. After the wedding excitement, flip the coin for a relaxing honeymoon at sister property Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort & Casino. Just a few miles down the road, couples will enjoy its stretch of pristine white-sand beach, clear waters, and proximity to the island capital Philipsburg for shopping and dining.

Sunset Resorts, Jamaica
Sunset Resorts in Jamaica gives the big kiss off to over-priced weddings! The destination wedding now marries any budget with its “We Do” wedding package. Guests staying a minimum of seven nights at Sunset Beach Resort & Spa in Montego Bay or Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort & Spa in Ocho Rios can now get married for free, courtesy of the resort. Sunset Resorts is an escape from escalating wedding prices, which can transform the “big day” into bigger bills. And the headaches of ceremony planning and tracking down vendors? Gone! Sunset Resorts will handle every move. You’ll be free to enjoy your vows backed by beautiful Jamaican sunsets.

For a beach wedding, you should choose beach wedding favors that depict a beach theme. Truly Wedding Favors offers a variety of beach themed favors that include colorful fun choices, or something a little more elegant.

Tropical Weddings in Hawaii

Posted on May 18th, 2008 by Kori Ellis in Wedding Favors

Hawaii continues to be one of the most popular destinations for weddings and honeymoons. If you are planning a destination wedding in Hawaii, you should embrace the tropical theme.

Many people think that a tropical theme means tacky plastic leis and girls in grass skirts. Though those ideas might be fun for some, if you are looking for an elegant wedding, you can still do it in Hawaii.

Silver Pineapple Placecard HoldersWith beautiful beaches and top-notch resorts, Hawaii is a gorgeous place to plan a classy more traditional wedding.

Last year, we traveled to Hawaii for a wedding on the beach in Maui. It was very well done. The tropical flowers offered gorgeous bursts of bright colors, while the rest of the wedding was done in silver and white. The results were fantastic.

If you are planning a wedding in Vegas (or anywhere eles with a tropical theme), you can find beautiful classy wedding favors here at Truly Wedding Favors.

The Silver Pineapple Placecard Holders pictured here are terrific choice. These shiny chrome favors can be used to hold placecards on your wedding day and then hold photos in your guests’ homes long after the wedding is over. You can get these favors for under $2 each.

Check out other lovely beach themed favors, including this starfish bottle stopper and the sea shell picture frame.

Casual Beach Weddings

Posted on January 8th, 2008 by Kori Ellis in Wedding Favors

Flip Flop Refrigerator MagnetsMy girlfriend is planning a beach wedding in Fiji this summer. Though she is just inviting a small circle of friends and family (about 30 people), the planning is definitely going to demand a lot of extra time and attention since it’s a destination wedding.

She’s in the midst of major planning mode right now and she’s already getting a little stressed out. When I asked her about wedding favors, she said they weren’t having any. When I asked why not, she’s said, “Umm … because it’s a beach wedding so we are trying to keep it casual. No one will want favors at an outdoor reception.”

I completely disagreed but I’m not sure if she listened. Even if you are holding a casual beach wedding locally, as opposed to exotic Fiji, you can still provide cute wedding favors for your guests.

Some of the best beach wedding favors that I’ve seen are flip flop favors.

You can get candles, place card holders, keychains or other items with a flip flop theme. These are cute, colorful fun favors that are affordable and perfect for a beach wedding.

These adorable flip flop refrigerator magnets pictured here are around a dollar each! You can’t beat the price. So, even if you are having a casual wedding or are short on funds, don’t skip the wedding favors altogether!

I’ll still try to convince my friend that she should re-consider. Maybe after a few drinks at her bridal shower, she’ll relax a little and be willing to discuss it.
