These mini photo albums make great wedding favors. The albums come in either burgundy or black and are made with luxurious satin.
On the front, you can slip in a photo of the bride and groom, or the album can do double duty as a placecard holder. Inside is space for 20 photos – two on each page, so your guests can fill up the album with memories when they get home. Each photo album is approximately 3.8 inches square.

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her girlfriend Portia de Rossi are planning their wedding in Palm Springs later this year. Since California lifted the ban on same sex weddings last month, the couple has begun planning their wedding and reception.
According to the New York Post the wedding will take place at the Riviera Resort and Spa.
An anonymous source told the paper, “They didn’t sign the contract yet, but they are working out the final details and security.”
Palm Springs is a hot (literally) spot for weddings in recent years. It’s a great place to relax for sun and fun, so it’s no wonder that couples are choosing the city as their wedding destination.

These colorful pails are a terrific way to package candies, nuts and other treats for wedding favors. These pails are ideal for a beach wedding, but would actually work for other wedding receptions as well.
When filling the pails, you don’t need to stick to the traditional Jordan almonds or Hershey’s Kisses. You can feature lemon drops, candy hearts, red hots, gum drops, mini candy bars or any number of other treats. You can also make homemade candy or mini cookies, wrap them in tulle and package them in the little tin pails.
The colors are fresh and crisp, including white, silver, pink, lavender, light blue and sage green.

Last year, I went to a friend’s wedding reception at a piano bar. It was a small affair of about 50 people, but it was a really fun atmosphere. The pianist was awesome – he sang everything from showtunes to the latest pop hits. Even if you aren’t having your party at a piano bar, a pianist is a nice idea. It can be the perfect complement to a classy, black and white wedding or even a wedding with a Las Vegas theme.

It’s not too early to start shopping for your winter wedding favors. Though winter seems far away, in terms of wedding planning right now is the optimal time to be planning for 2009 winter wedding.
When decorating for a winter wedding, you have plenty of choices in colors and styles. You can choose from rich, luxe winter colors such as deep burgundy, forest green or chocolate brown, or you can go completely in the other direction and decorate in all white.
If you want to bring some of the elements of winter inside for your wedding, there’s nothing better than decorating with snowflakes and icicles. You can even have gorgeous ice sculptures made and brought in for the occasion.

Many people celebrate with a bottle or glass of wine. And now, you can give your wedding guests a token of celebration that will last long after you wedding is over with wine themed wedding favors.
One of my favorites is the Petit Merlot wine glass gel candle, which consists of a single wine glass shaped candle holder that contains a gel candle. These cute cookie pictured here are from Elenis. They offer specialty cookies in various shapes and designs that depict holidays, hobbies and just about everything else – including weddings!
The set pictured here is $65 for 17 cookies. You can also order individual designs, ranging from square monogram cookies to colorful cake cookies. You could use them as wedding favors, bridal shower favors or hand them out the morning after your wedding at brunch.
If you are feeling creative, you could probably bake similar cookies yourself and then package them as wedding favors. Though they wouldn’t be as perfect as the ones from Elenis, they’d be a little more affordable.
After baking and frosting your cookies, wrap them in cellophane and then package them in one of the wedding favor boxes available at Truly Wedding Favors.

Hawaii continues to be one of the most popular destinations for weddings and honeymoons. If you are planning a destination wedding in Hawaii, you should embrace the tropical theme.
Many people think that a tropical theme means tacky plastic leis and girls in grass skirts. Though those ideas might be fun for some, if you are looking for an elegant wedding, you can still do it in Hawaii.
With beautiful beaches and top-notch resorts, Hawaii is a gorgeous place to plan a classy more traditional wedding.
Last year, we traveled to Hawaii for a wedding on the beach in Maui. It was very well done. The tropical flowers offered gorgeous bursts of bright colors, while the rest of the wedding was done in silver and white. The results were fantastic.

Vegas used to be considered somewhere you would just get married on a whim. However with so many beautiful luxury casino hotels and resorts in Vegas these days, many couple plan their weddings in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas isn’t just a place for quicky weddings and those with Elvis impersonators. Very elegant, classy weddings take place in Vegas too. Recently, I attended a poolside wedding at the Alexis Park Resort Hotel. It’s an absolutely amazing facility. In addition to their outdoor weddings, they also have several gorgeous onsite ballrooms.
If you are getting married in Vegas, you should consider purchasing Vegas themed favors. A black and white wedding or black and red wedding is perfect for Vegas.

A long time wedding tradition is for guests to ring bells that are placed on the tables at the reception. The ring of the bell signals the bride and groom to kiss. The clinking of glasses can also be a sign for the newlyweds to kiss.
