The date is set, the planning is underway, but now it is time to find those unique wedding favors for your guests. The tradition of handing out wedding favors is one that shows appreciation for not only your guests coming to the wedding, but coming to support you and your spouse uniting with a set of vows with them as the witness. Finding unique wedding favors that show your appreciation and are still considered cheap wedding favors isn’t always easy, but the good news is, it’s not impossible either.
Get an Accurate Guest Count
There is nothing more embarrassing than finding the perfect cheap wedding favors and finding out you fall short at the reception. Make sure to get an accurate guest count for your wedding and then bump it by at least twenty just to be safe. Sometimes, unfortunately, wedding guests do not always RSVP, which means you will need to create a buffer for those that show up unannounced. More »

A friend of mine told me about a very formal wedding that she atteneded recently where the couple gave store-bought cookies as wedding favors … and just two cookies to each guest. I’m not talking about any elaborate, expensive, beautiful cookies, but rather just generic cookies that cost a few cents each.
When you can afford to invite 300 people to your wedding, you shouldn’t skimp on wedding favors. Don’t get me wrong, you don’t have to spend a fortune. You can actually get cheap wedding favors that aren’t cheap-looking or tacky.
