Elegant Crystal Wedding Favors Fit Virtually Any Wedding Budget and ThemeIf you love crystal, you aren’t alone. Crystal has been prized for centuries, its unique luminous and delicate glow making it the perfect material from which to craft everything from fine glassware for the table to beautiful jewelry and figurines. Items made of crystal bear a certain air of sophistication, whether the piece is a beautifully sculpted rose or a whimsical fairy tale figure.

Crystal wedding favors have a classic beauty that have made them a popular choice of brides for generations. If you are one of those brides, but aren’t quite sure that crystal will fit into your wedding theme or your budget, looking into today’s variety of crystal wedding favors will be a pleasant surprise. Crystal wedding favors are not only stunning gifts that are sure to be appreciated by the friends and family members who have gathered to help you celebrate your new marriage, but they can be very affordable and versatile as well. These lovely items range from the small and simple to the ornate and detailed, each with the sparkling beauty and elegance for which crystal is famous.

The bride on a tight budget with her heart set on crystal wedding favors will find a great selection of options that are both striking and economical. Sparkling crystal key chains are among the most affordable, and are available in options that include delicate crystal crosses, crystal dice, butterflies, stars, hearts, crowns, Cinderella slippers and autumn leaves. Other beautiful options for the budget conscious are the Crystal Long Stem Rose, the Crystal Heart Place Card Holder and Crystal Leaf Wine Bottle Stoppers.

The bride that has a little more wiggle room in the wedding budget may want to consider slightly larger and more ornate crystal wedding favors. Among the mid range items, as far as price is concerned, are the Choice Crystal Cross, the Crystal Ball Place Card Holder, the Crystal Clamshell Favor, the Candy Crystal, and the Chrome Crystal Heart Bottle Stopper. A tad higher in the mid-range category are Crystal Kissing Swans, the Crystal Cross, and the Crystal Pumpkin Coach, among many other elegant choices.

For the fortunate bride who has fewer budgetary limitations, there are many higher end crystal wedding favors options. The Crystal Globe makes and elegant gift, as does the Heart and Cross Perfume Bottle, Crystal Carousel, Crystal Flowerpot or Crystal Heart Paperweight. If candles are your fancy, you can choose the Crystal Diamond Candle Holder, the Diamond-Shaped Tea Light Holder or the Choice Crystal Heart Candle. Bottle stopper options include ones topped with sophisticated roses, elegant angels, and whimsical starfish.

From the simplest key chain to ornate figurines, crystal wedding favors can add a touch of elegance to any wedding, whether it is a formal affair or a casual beach or backyard event. Once an extravagance to be found only at the wedding celebrations of Europe’s wealthy upper classes, today’s crystal wedding favors are available in a variety that offers options to suit virtually any budget and wedding theme.

Place Card Holders Can Do Double Duty

Posted on May 9th, 2012 by kevindflynn in Wedding Favors

Matte Gold Metal Photo AlbumPlace card holders serve a very practical purpose on your wedding day, doing their part in keeping things organized and efficient. However, they don’t have to be frivolous little items that are just used for a day. Made in styles ranging from elegant to whimsical, well-chosen place card holders can do double duty, becoming lovely mementos of your wedding day for your friends and family to take home after they have served their purpose on your wedding tables.

Place card holders double as thoughtful wedding favors when they come in the form of miniature picture albums, such as the Matte Gold Metal Photo Album, or decorative picture frames. Both of these options can make a lovely keepsake for friends and family, used to display photos from your wedding or their own pictures after the festivities have ended.

Picture frames or albums also offer a bit more flexibility than the typical place card holder, giving enough space for a thank you note or a poem to be included for each guest, a personal touch that is sure to make them feel appreciated. Picture frame place holders are available in an array of styles, ranging from elegant silver, gold, chrome or pewter metal frames to delicate floral patterns or whimsical sports, beach, animal or fairytale themes.

Candle holders that double as place card holders are another pretty and practical option, making a lovely addition to your wedding tables and thoughtful gifts for your guests, as is the Damask Design Placecard Memo Pad, a lovely little box full of memo paper and topped with a place card frame. Other great double duty place card holders include the Elegant Vase Place Card Holder, which can hold flowers both at your wedding table and your guest’s homes, and place holders that double as paperweights or favor boxes.

Providing each of your guests with a place card holder that doubles as a thoughtful and useful gift is a terrific way to show your appreciation as they help you celebrate on of life’s most important events. And, if you are thrifty by nature, knowing that those place card holders will serve a useful purpose after the wedding, rather than being packed away or discarded, is bound to bring a certain amount of satisfaction.

Cross-Cultural Weddings

Posted on October 24th, 2008 by Kori Ellis in Wedding Favors

My husband and I went to a wedding last weekend. It was a cross-cultural wedding – Chinese and American. First a traditional Chinese ceremony, complete with Chinese wedding attire, was performed. This was interesting even though I couldn’t understand any of it. After the Chinese wedding ceremony was complete, then the couple quickly changed clothes while the guests were treated to some Chinese music, followed by “Here Comes the Bride” as the bride came down the church aisle once again.
